It is a great solution for our youngest patients or those who may not be ready for traditional fillings. It combines the antibacterial properties of silver with the remineralizing benefits of fluoride. When applied to a decayed tooth it helps to kill the bacteria that cause cavities, prevent further spread of decay, and strengthen the affected tooth structure. SDF is a safe, effective, and painless alternative to traditional cavity treatments.
